It first explores the youth work and the Charism of St. Vincent Pallotti and then it examines their relevance to youth apostolate among the Catholic youth in the IT/ITES/BPO sector in India. The work also includes a depth survey among the youths of this sector. The endeavour here is to formulate a special strategy for the Catholic Youth Ministry among youth involved and engaged in the world of IT and ITES sector such as the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and in the Call Centres, a thriving industry in the Indian economy and a podium for many rapid and startling changes in the world of youth. This effort is in all probability first in its pastoral and scientific approach.

James Justin Dhiraviam is a Pallottine Priest, born in 1967, belongs to the Assumption Province of Bangalore. He was ordained in the year 1998. Since then he has worked as teacher, Bursar, Vocation Promoter, Parish Priest and for a short time as Assistant director of laity centre and as a director of a school. He has special interest in the Youth ministry even from his student days and as priest. He works with various youth groups in different places and regularly conducts youth seminars, workshops and retreats. He holds M.Th in Youth ministry and Catechetics from Viswadeep (KJC) Bangalore and has a PhD in Pastoral Theology from Pallottine Catholic University, Germany. He teaches presently ¬Pastoral theology in various Theological seminaries, besides his Pastoral work in a Parish.
